Pop Quiz: Where did you think I'd be 5 years after graduation?

     A. Some Huge City Far Away
     B. Still In College After Changing My Major (AGAIN)
     C. Becoming A Mom/Wife To A Beautiful Family

I know, I wouldn't have guessed C either if you asked me 5 years ago. But I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. Garrett and I don't do things half-way - we take our life together in huge strides. We met in 2013, got engaged in 2014, got married in 2015, bought a house in 2016, and had a baby in 2017. I'd say the past 5 years have held more life changing and exciting moments than I can begin to count. If you keep up with me through my blog I hope you get a taste of how God has truly built this family up through love and laughter. Loving each other through each time I threatened to drop out of school or laughing through 21 hours of labor, we built a beautiful family.

At this point, you might be saying, "Cami, THIS is your first blog post?" Why, yes - yes it is. Because  I never dreamed that in 5 years after graduating high school I would marry my best friend and become a mom to our Sweet Melody.
